Description
- St-Péray From the town hall square, follow signs for Alboussière - Tourtousse along Rue Ferdinand Malet, then turn left onto Place Richard. Cross the square to the playground, then follow the Mialan river on your right until you reach a small stream. Cross it and immediately turn left. Cross the Toulaud road towards the hamlet of AMOURDEDIEU via the Route des Putiers. Continue to the "Cœur de Vignes" guest house and take the path on the left between the vineyards.
- Rochette: Cross the D533, known as the Route du Pin, and take the small road opposite. Cross the field and take the wide path on the left. Enjoy the stunning views of Crussol Mountain and the vineyards, as well as the Rhône Valley and the Vercors. Take the road on the left and continue on the Pr.
- Gachet: A little further on, turn right to enter a chestnut forest. Pass under the farm (two airlocks, which must be carried over on mountain bikes; impossible to pass with horses) and go up to the tram road. Continue along the wide path opposite.
- Perrier: Perrier, from the Latin Petra, meaning stone, rock, mountain. Head downhill to the hamlet of Perrier. Take the road downhill and join the Saint Romain de Lerps road. Cross it to take a small, steep path. Follow the path parallel to the road, then leave it via a path on your left. You will reach the Saveyre river. Turn right to cross it, then climb up to join the GR42.
- Les Blaches: Follow the signs for Saint-Péray. Les Blaches, from the Latin blacca, meaning a variety of oak trees, then a type of plantation. The GR42 takes you back to the town. Passing through new housing developments, you arrive at the RD 86. Opposite you, you can admire the Château de Crussol and, below it, the Château de Beauregard. Reach the town hall square via Rue Oscar Saint-Prix and Rue de la République.
